Crochet toadstools

My first ever attempt at crochet.

I got this kit (Toadstools from The Crafty Kit Company) as a gift. I could not tell my single crochets from my magic rings until a visit from a friend and crochet magician (Ulala).

The results were still far from perfect (blame the student, not the teacher!) but I really had fun making these little guys. And crochet may not replace cross-stitch as my favourite technique but I found it really enjoyable nonetheless.
