This flower painting-by-numbers canvas kit was a gift I got years ago and it took me almost two years to actually finish it. I quite liked the vivid colours but without a frame the canvas were not too exciting on their own so the finished painting spend a good few years in the attic.
Then one day in Ikea I found a deep frame that seemed perfect (I don’t remember the type and they don’t seem to sell them any more…). I just had to get rid of the glass that was in the way. Also, on the same Ikea visit I grabbed a bunch of artificial flowers (I seem to have a soft spot for them) and later decided to use one of them on the frame.
