Lilac

Lilac cross stitch kit from Alisa (I really like their little kits and I’m sure it’s not the last one I stitch).

When I was a kid I used to pick massive bunches of lilacs for my mum on Mother’s Day (in Poland the date falls on 26th May and lilacs are usually in full bloom then). No wonder I couldn’t resist this kit when I saw it.

It’s framed in Ikea Mossebo shadow frame, with the inside spray-painted metallic green. I also used some parts from artificial lilac flowers that I had lying around.
