Pallet shoe rack

Our extremely narrow entry hall did not offer much in terms of usable space. But lo and behold, there was one pallet left from my garden project – and it was just perfect for the tiny amount of space available.

What happened next was plenty of sanding and white paint, and a few plants from B&Q (these tend to change every now and then as they grow and become too big for the plastic GESSAN containers from Ikea – so I am periodically getting another small specimen that would fit there). Also, the skirting did not make things easier and some cutting and tricky adjusting was necessary.

More recently in Debenhams sales I came across Umbra cubist wall shelf and fell in love with it instantly. With a large format family photo framed in Ikea MARIETORP I can now consider the hall complete (until another find that is).
