Woolly landscape

During Dublin Knitting and Stitching Show 2016 Catherine Lawes did a lovely workshop on woollen textured landscapes created from mixed fabrics and threads.

This is my attempt at woolly seascape, framed in Ikea RIBBA, with the inside spray-painted metallic gold. I removed the glass as I like to touch the wooly texture every now and then – the picture sits on a ledge right above my desk so it’s easy to do so 🙂
